The luxurious SAYARI OUTDOOR COLLECTION is inspired by the beauty of the African continent. The return of sculptural and curved seating - outdoors. Instead of using traditional shapes and patterns, this collection is a contemporary ode to the place our Studio calls home. “SAYARI” is Swahili and translates to “Planet”. The focus of the collection lies on being gentle and conscious of our SAYARI and creating products made of the Eucalyptus Globulus alien species which has a negative impact on the biodiversity of South Africa. The collection consists of a reflective and thought-through environment made to last.
The simplistic yet eye-catching MAONI DAYBED is versatile in its use and offers pairing with the uniquely shaped but functional KIMONDO SIDE TABLE with marble inlay. The magic that happens when textures and creative forces collide.

PLEASE CLEAN YOUR HANDS BEFORE INSTALLING. ALL INSTALLATION AND ASSEMBLY SHOULD BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN OR CONTRACTOR. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN HANDLING HANDMADE GOODS. STUDIO LLOYD WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PRODUCTS THAT HAVE BEEN INCORRECTLY INSTALLED.
PLEASE AVOID OVER-TIGHTENING ANY ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS SUCH AS LAMP HOLDERS AND LIGHT BULBS PROVIDED AS THIS WILL DAMAGE THE PRODUCT.
OUR ROPE MATERIAL
A HANDHELD VACUUM AND A SOFT BRUSH WILL WORK TO REMOVE DUST. ALTERNATIVELY A HARD DRY BRUSH FOR MORE STUBBORN MARKS. IF USING A SLIGHTLY DAMP BRUSH PLEASE LET THE PRODUCT DRY IN THE SUN IF POSSIBLE.
METAL COMPONENTS
DO NOT CLEAN WITH ANY ABRASIVE MATERIALS FOR EXAMPLE - STEEL WOOL.
POWDER COATING - A LIGHT DUSTING WITH A FEATHER DUSTER OR A VERY GENTLE WIPE WITH A SLIGHTLY DAMP MICROFIBRE CLOTH WITH MILD SOAP CAN BE USED.
SOFT METALS (BRASS) - AN APPROPRIATE METAL CLEANER WILL HELP KEEP THE PRODUCTS SHINE WITH A MICROFIBRE CLOTH. WE DO NOT USE ANY LACQUER ON OUR PRODUCTS AND TRUST A NATURAL TARNISHING PROCESS WILL TAKE PLACE OVER TIME. WE KEEP TRUE TO OUR MATERIALS.
LAMP HOLDERS, ELECTRICAL CABLE & LED BULBS
THE LAMP HOLDERS, ELECTRICAL CABLE AND LED BULBS CAN BE DUSTED LIGHTLY WITH A FEATHER DUSTER OR A VERY GENTLE WIPE WITH A DRY MICROFIBRE CLOTH.
WOODEN ELEMENTS
EVERY WOOD ELEMENT HAS BEEN TREATED ACCORDINGLY. PLEASE NOTE WOOD IS A NATURAL MATERIAL THAT AGES AND LOOSES IT’S COLOUR OVER TIME IF OUTSIDE. THE OWNER OF THE PRODUCT SHOULD PURCHASE THE APPROPRIATE OUTDOOR CARE AND APPLY EVERY 3-4 YEARS.
PLACEMATS & FLOOR MATS
OUR PLACEMATS AND FLOOR MATS ARE MACHINE WASHABLE. ALTERNATIVELY, THEY CAN BE PRESSURE WASHED & LEFT TO DRY OUTSIDE.
